Do you have a creative ADHD brain? 95% of my coaching clients claim they do. And although many of them have indeed been properly diagnosed, a lot of my clients simply struggle with a chaotic mind full of ideas, and the tendency to constantly chase glitter. It might be ADHD, or not, but it is annoying either way. The constant influx of ideas is the beauty and the downside of being a creative: it is not easy to keep focus, nor manage your time well. It is exhausting. How can you better keep control of your thoughts, your ideas and reach your business goals?
You may be a designer, or a photographer. Perhaps you run a music studio, or are a wardrobe stylist. Whatever you do, you love working in the creative industries, and you are never short of ideas. However, that is exactly what is holding you back from propelling forward and making your business more successful. You feel like you are constantly firefighting, dealing with a mountain of thoughts, and never have time to sit down and calmly plan your next steps.
Having ADHD and running a business is no walk in the park.
Need a business coach to help you with your creative adhd brain?

“I will help you look at your week, and how you use your days. We look at priorities, non-negotiables, and ‘nice-to-haves’. It’s a bit like calling in Marie Kondo; what will we keep, what will we throw? And most importantly: what gives you joy? This will help you create structure and focus in your life and business, and make better use of your time.”
How to calm your creative ADHD brain
When I start working with new clients, most of them tell me they feel overwhelmed. Too many ideas, too many thoughts, and often they don’t know what to focus on first. What I do with my clients as a creative business coach is to look at their main business idea first. What is it you do? Who are you helping? What is your main marketing message? Once you have these questions answered, you already feel much calmer. You have clarity and focus.
Furthermore, we look at the different offers. How are you helping your audience? You may think you have a fantastic offer, but is this helping your audience solve their problem? So we need to figure out what their main desire is, and how you can tap into this. This clarity will do wonders for the type of content you create, and how you make yourself visible online.
Creating clarity in your creative business
Your creative business will thrive once you have clarity. You may have an ADHD brain, but this doesn’t have to mean you are stuck and cannot create more focus and structure. Next, we make a plan. We look at what your goals are. This could mean income goals, or launching your next project, or rebranding your business so it is aligned with your core values and what you want to achieve.
When you work with me as your creative business coach, we meet two or three times a month 1-to-1, and I hold you accountable. With an actionable game plan, you know exactly what to do next. I give you guidance, and you take action. Because you know we will meet again soon, and you have invested in your personal and professional development, I know you will. Your creative ADHD brain may still give you thoughts and ideas, but you have your plan to fall back on.
“I provide support as your personal business coach. I have a creative background myself, and I totally understand the way creatives think. But I am also a rock star at keeping the overview and seeing what is really important to focus on, and seeing the wood from the trees. Clients call me the queen of clarity, and always feels better and calmer after a call.”

You don’t have to continue to struggle with your ADHD, or your busy mind as a creative entrepreneur. It is easy to procrastinate and be distracted when you are trying to do it all alone. But no man is an island, and having someone to hold you accountable, and give you clarity and guidance, will help you tremendously. Just think about it: instead of feeling exhausted already on a Monday, looking at your to-do-list and dealing with your chatty brain, you now know what to do. Doesn’t that sound wonderful?
If you have a creative ADHD brain, or simply feel stuck and overwhelmed, it is time to take action. I can help you get to where you want to be. Together, we grow your business, and you no longer feel like you are getting nowhere.
